In 1976, Advanced DataSystems Ltd. (ADS) was incorporated as one of Saskatchewan's first software development companies. Since that time, ADS has seen many changes in technology and has grown with these changes to remain one of Saskatchewan's and Canada's premier Software Technology companies.
In the 1970's and early 1980's, ADS designed and developed business systems and successfully delivered turn-key solutions to our clients by providing a single vendor hardware/software/support solution, which was a unique concept at the time.
By the mid-1980's, our software design and development experience had grown to include a number of specialized business applications including Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Canadian Personal Income Tax Preparation, Waste Management Disposal Systems and many others.
In the 1990's, with the rapid growth of Personal Computers, Networks, Hosted Solutions and popular Windows-based software, we evolved and expanded to meet the changing and growing needs of our clients.
In 1996, ADS partnered with a First Nation Group to develop a suite of software products, Aboriginal Information Systems, that was designed for First Nations administration and management (click here to read more). This product line, along with our continued development of customized databases and software applications, remains an integral part of our business strategy in today's marketplace.
Over the decades, the software tools and standards have changed, and ADS has remained on the leading edge of those changes.
